The Blue Bar is a super high-output, rugged, shockless static bar which can be used in almost any application requiring a static bar. The bar is especially useful for high-speed applications and is effective at web speeds of 2500′ per minute or more. The bar delivers long range static elimination and can be located up to 6″ (and sometimes more!) from the target material.

The patented Blue Bar is designed for easy cleaning and offers a mounting channel with full length adjustment. The bar’s high voltage cable is metal shielded, which controls EMI and RFI emissions, eliminating interference with external controls and circuitry.

The Blue Bar can be powered by the NEW TrueAC Self-Monitoring Power Supply or D167Q/D257Q Power Supply, which must be ordered separately. The TrueAC Power Supply gives you Bar ON Indicator, Bar OFF Indicator, CLEAN BAR Indicator, FAULT Indicator with arc detection circuit protection for the transformer, SERVICE Indicator, BAR PERFORMANCE Display, and Remote Display capabilities.

The R50 BlueBar can be made “moisture resistant” not waterproof.  The bar cannot be immersed in water or subjected to constant wash down.  However, it will withstand occasional contact with water, such as splashing or an infrequent wash down when an operator forgets to remove the bar from the wash down area.  It will also function in high humidity environments.

Prototypes ran continuously (24/7) for over eight months in a 100% humidity environment before burnout.  This is equivalent to almost three years of operation 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Design Your R50 Blue BarIt’s easy to configure and order a Simco R50 BlueBar static bar to fit your requirements. They are available in 0.59” increments starting with overall lengths from 3.34” with a single ionizing emitter pin up to 156.30” with 152.95” of ionizing emitter pins.  All SIMCO static bars are shipped with mounting brackets, high voltage cable and a connecter to attach the cable to a SIMCO Power Supply.  Standard high voltage cable length is 7-ft.  Lengths of 14-ft and 21-ft can be made if required.  We can also add a right-angle cable exit to facilitate cable routing.
